Join artists Vallari Harshwal and Shilpa Agashe for Grounded, a one-day creative workshop at Coach House Studios, exploring paper and clay as surfaces for creative expression. 

The day will begin with a guided exploration of the beautiful woodland surrounding the studios on the grounds of Yeldall Manor. Using nature journaling techniques, you’ll be encouraged to observe closely and record your impressions through prompt-based drawing and writing. This process supports a deeper awareness of the environment, helping you notice details that often go unseen. 

Following the morning session, you will  return to the studio—a bright purpose-built space designed to support open and focused creative work. Here, you’ll translate your woodland observations into artwork using both paper and clay.

Participants will create a personal woodland journal and decorate a ceramic plate using underglazes, developing ideas across different materials and surfaces.
