I am excited to share a full day of  pottery experience in my studio this spring which can be ideal as a day out with family and friends.

The participants will learn to make objects using hand building pottery techniques. Clay is a mysterious medium offering  flexibility to develop unexplored forms. I will be there to nudge the participants to bring out their most original creations.

*During the one day workshop, you will learn hand-building techniques of coiling, pinching and slab building.

*We will discuss your design or artwork, plan and I will guide and  assist in executing your work.

*As a family unit, participants can either work on a common project (eg: a mural) or create individual objects of their choice. Each learner will be given personal attention during the course of the day to ensure they grasp the techniques. I can accommodate 6 people in my studio. So each place for family member needs to be booked individually.

*Participant age limit 14 years and above.

What will be provided:

Clay, tools and workspace will be provided.

2 firing are included in this workshop. It will take about 5-6 weeks for the works to be fired and glazed. Once done, I will email you for a pickup date (shipping can be arranged but postage will need to be paid as per actuals).

Snacks and drinks will be provided. Please feel free to bring a packed lunch due to any allergies.
