Let there be light.
This year, I especially feel the need to bring some light in our lives- with all the chaos in the world.
You will learn to make sculptural candle holders or tea light holders using hand building pottery techniques. We will use air drying clay, so that the works can be carried home on the same day.
Clay as a medium offers flexibility to develop unexplored forms. I will be there to nudge the participants to bring out their most original creations.
*During the 2.5 hr workshop, you will learn hand-building techniques of coiling, pinching and slab building with my guided assistance.
* Each learner will be given personal attention during the course of the day to ensure they grasp the techniques.
*Participant age limit 14 years and above. I can accommodate 12 people (at a stretch- 15 people!)
What will be provided:
Clay, materials, tools and workspace will be provided.
Warm beverages and light snacks will be offered to celebrate this festive season.
Time: 10am-12.30 pm (please arrive 15 minutes before the workshop begins)
